his That’s French Fries and Gravy, and two different types of Green Flash IPAs from our short but sweet date night last night at Parasol’s in the Irish Channel. It’s pretty much exactly what we expected which wasn’t much. I’m sure it’s a great spot during St. Patty’s (or for a nooner on a Tuesday) but beyond that the ambiance (smokiness) and location (sketchy) make this NOLA staple a little hard to recommend. The Po Boys were really good, but I don’t know if they held up to the hype. Maybe we will have to do a round two on a random Tuesday.
